Description

This building, known as No. 1 Reybridge, is a house dating from the 17th to 18th century. It is constructed from rubble stone and has a stone slate roof, with two and two-and-a-half storeys. The west end section of the house is from the late 17th century and features a square plan, gables at the front and rear, and a chimney gable on the west side.

On the south front, there are cavetto-moulded recessed mullion windows, including a three-light window with a hoodmould on both the ground and first floors. The north entrance front has a blocked attic two-light window with a hoodmould, a stepped pattern of blocked single and two-light windows below with a hoodmould, and two two-light cellar windows. To the left, there is a door with a chamfered surround, and a 19th-century stone slate lean-to porch.

An attached range to the east dates from the late 17th or early 18th century and has a hipped east end with cyma-moulded recessed mullion windows. The south front features two original two-light windows on the first floor and a 20th-century window in between. On the ground floor, there are two two-light windows to the left, a half-glazed door, and a 20th-century three-light window to the right. The north front includes one ground floor three-light mullion window with a hoodmould, while casements are present elsewhere.
