Description

Rey Bridge is a road bridge over the River Avon, built in the early to mid 18th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features four segmental arches supported by thin piers, which have cutwaters on the upstream side. The bridge has a raised band beneath the parapet and raised piers at the parapet. One of the upstream piers is inscribed with "WW 1745," while an adjoining arch has "1691" carved on its soffit.
