Description

Corner Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed of flint and brick, with some areas rendered, and features a thatched roof. The building is single storey with an attic, consisting of two bays, and has a single storey flat-roofed extension on the north side along Pollen Lane. There is a gabled porch at the entrance located in the narrower eastern service bay, which has a 20th-century door. The main living room includes a bay window, and there is one flush dormer, with the windows featuring diagonal cames. A gable stack is positioned to the left, and the roof is half hipped to the right.
