Description
No 3 Church Walk is a cottage attached to No 5, dating from the 17th to 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubblestone and features a stone slate roof with brick stacks. The building is one storey with an attic and has three windows. The central door is topped with a flat stone hood supported by brackets, and there are two 2-light splayed mullioned windows on either side. The first floor includes three gabled dormers that are partially set into the roof, each with casement windows, and all windows are fitted with leaded glass. The left side of the building has one casement window in the attic. At the rear, there is an outshot. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is reported to have deep chamfered beams with carved stops at the junctions, creating a decorative boss.
