Description

Wick Down Farmhouse is a farmhouse, now a house, built in the 18th century on the site of an earlier building. It is constructed from sarsen stone with brick quoins, window dressings, and a plat band, topped with a tiled roof. The building has four bays, with the left three bays arranged symmetrically around a central door that features a late 19th-century open timber gabled porch. The fourth bay, which is contemporary to the others, extends beyond the main stack. The farmhouse has early 20th-century timber paned windows. The roof is hipped and includes a brick stack and one small hipped dormer.
