Description
The barn located to the south of Overmoor Farmhouse is dated 1731 and was built for W. Edwards. It is constructed from rubble stone and features a concrete tile roof, coped gables, and a saddlestone. The barn has flush quoins and projecting gabled cart entries on opposite sides. The east entry includes 16 tiers of dove-openings in the gable, with a central cyma-moulded opening that has a date plaque set in a bolection-moulded frame above it. There is a timber lintel over the entry. Inside, the barn has a five-bay roof supported by tie-beam-and-collar trusses.
