Description

This is a three-cottage dwelling, now combined into a single residence, dating from 1724 with later 19th-century alterations. The building is constructed of rubble stone with stone tiled roofs. The original section, located on the right-hand side, is two storeys high, featuring coped gables and a south-end stack. On the first floor, a two-light window is set within a bead-moulded surround; below it are a pair of small 12-pane sash windows in 19th-century flush surrounds. A 20th-century stone porch with a date plaque inscribed "DDI 1724" is situated to the left, sheltering an oak plank door within a chamfered surround. To the left of this is a squared rubble addition with a coped north gable and a stack, featuring windows in plain, unmoulded surrounds. This section includes one 12-pane sash window paired with smaller 8-pane sashes above, and two 4-pane sashes below, along with a central door. A further 20th-century addition is present on the north-west side of the property.
