Description
Belle Vue Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 17th century or earlier and was remodeled in the early 19th century. It features a roughcast exterior with a slate roof that is hipped at the north-west angle and half-hipped to the south. The building has a ridge stack and an end stack on the rear wing. It is two storeys tall and has an L-plan layout.
The front range has an upper floor that slightly projects, showcasing two 16-pane sash windows set in timber architraves, along with one pair of 20th-century casement windows with top lights. On the ground floor, there is a six-panel door with a traceried fanlight above, also in a timber architrave, and two French windows framed in timber architraves. A large 20th-century glazed porch has been added to the entrance. The farmhouse is said to be timber-framed.
