Description

Pyatts Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse, altered in the 19th century. It is constructed of English bond brick, with a double Roman tiled roof, and axial and gable end brick stacks. The main part of the house is two storeys high with three windows. A central 4-panelled door is flanked by 16-pane sashes, and there are three sashes to the first floor. A one-bay 19th-century addition is located to the right, featuring sashes and a Welsh slate roof. The rear of the building is partly rubble stone, representing a rebuilding of the original timber framing, with some timber framing retained to the first floor. A lean-to glazed conservatory is on the left, and a 16-pane sash is to the right, along with three 2-light first floor casements.
