Description
Number 7 The Brittox is a mid-18th century building that stands three storeys tall and is constructed of red brick, making it taller than Number 6. It features a parapet with stone coping and a stone block cornice that is concave underneath. The building has three recessed sash windows with glazing bars, which are segment-headed and framed by painted stone architrave surrounds. The sills of these windows are stepped up to the sides, similar to those on Number 6. The ground floor has a modern shop front. There is an extension to the east that includes one similar window, which has been partly rebuilt. This extension also has a parapet with coping but lacks a cornice. Numbers 4 to 7 The Brittox form a group.
