Description

The 18th-century front of numbers 2 and 3 Little Brittox presents a symmetrical appearance to the upper floors. The building is stuccoed with a moulded wooden cornice and parapet above, and has a slate roof. A two-storey flat-roofed, angular bay window sits centrally, featuring a plain frieze and small cornice on each floor, with architrave framing to the windows. Two windows, each with four panes, are positioned on either side of the bay, also with architrave surrounds and small cornices.

Number 3 features an early 19th-century shop on its right-hand side, alongside two curved windows. It also has contemporary three-panel shutters, with a grille and diamond vent in the top panel of the centre section, and a six-panel door, flush in style, to the right of the shop. A further six-panel door sits centrally. Both doors are framed by narrow pilasters, a plain frieze, and a cornice. Number 2 has a modern shop on its left-hand side.

Numbers 1 to 5 (inclusive), along with numbers 1 and 2 The Brittox, form a cohesive group.
