  1. C18. 3 storeys and attic. Plum-coloured brick with red brick window surrounds and strings above and below 1st floor windows. Chamfered stone quoins. Bold moulded wood cornice with carved scroll brackets. Hipped slate roof. 2 dormer casements. 5 casements on 2nd floor with late C18 lights of pointed arched top panes (one blocked). 5 sash windows on 1st floor, red rubber heads. Elaborate cast lead rain water heads Cl8 at corners, modern down pipes. Poor modern shop fronts. This building has a front of considerable distinction in spite of the shops.

Nos 4 to 7 (consec) form a group.
