Description

Church Farmhouse is a farmhouse with origins dating back to the 17th century, which was heavily remodeled in 1938. It is constructed of rubble stone and features stone slate roofs, with a west end stack and a rear stack on the main range. The building has two storeys and an attic. The main range has three windows, each featuring 3-light stone mullion windows with hoodmoulds on either side and a 2-light window above the central door. The ground floor windows, door, and porch are from the 20th century, while the first-floor 3-light windows are hollow-moulded and of a later 17th-century style.

To the right of the main range, there is a single-storey wing that includes a 20th-century three-light window and a single light. To the left, the two-storey east wing has a 20th-century two-light window on the first floor, and on the ground floor, there is a 2-light hollow-moulded window along with a 3-light recessed chamfered window, both of which appear to be original but may have been reset. The east end wall features a similar first-floor 3-light window. All windows are fitted with 20th-century leaded lights. The rear of the building is mostly from the 20th century, with one 2-light hollow-moulded mullion window. The farmhouse is included for its group value.
