Description

This is an early 18th-century house with a later 18th-century refronting, attached to numbers 129 and 130 Beanacre. It is constructed of ashlar to the front facade and rubble stone to the returns and rear. The front section has a Welsh slate roof with ashlar coped verges, while the rear section has a tiled roof. Ashlar stacks are present. The house has a square, double roof span plan.

The symmetrical front facade is two storeys high with three windows. The central doorway is framed by a moulded architrave and flat hood. There are paired 12-pane sash windows on either side of the doorway. A plat band runs along the first floor. The central semi-circular headed window on the first floor has a keystone and imposts, with fanlight glazing bars in the top of the sash, and paired 12-pane sashes flank it. The rear of the house features two 3-light, cyma moulded mullioned windows to the first floor.

Inside, the front ground floor rooms have chamfered spine beams with run-out stops and large stone fireplaces with 4-centred arches. The rear range has lower ceilings and 3-plank doors to both the ground and first floors.
