Description

CORSHAM PICKWICK ST 87 SE (north side) 1/283 No 3 (Meadlands) II

House, mid C18 and early C19, rubble stone with ashlar dressings, stone tiled roof, coped gables and end wall stacks. Two storeys, 3- window range with coved eaves cornice. To right, a full height ashlar canted bay with cornice carried around and 12-pane sashes, centre 6-panel door in C19 unmoulded surround, set in ashlar flat porch, small 12-pane window over, to right C19 sixteen-pane ground floor sash and first floor C18 three-light flush cyma-moulded mullion window with hoodmould. Lower 2-storey one-window range to left with coped west gable and end stack, 3-light windows with hoodmoulds, recessed cyma-moulded below and flush cyma-moulded above. Rear has gable to right with upper 3-light bead-moulded window and 2-storey outshut to left, rendered, apparently later addition but walling unbroken on east end wall.
