Description
White Hart House is an inn that has been converted into a detached house, originally built in 1651, as indicated by the datestone above the door. The building has been altered in the 18th century and features painted coursed rubble stone with an interlocking clay tiled roof and gable end brick stacks. It is two stories high with three windows. There is a planked door located to the left of the center, with a 2-light casement window on either side. The first floor has three 2-light casements. A 20th-century extension is attached to the right side of the building, while the left side has no openings. At the rear, there is a 19th-century gabled two-story wing with casement windows. The interior was not accessible during the survey conducted in March 1987.
