Description

Mistletoe Cottage is a detached cottage with a date of the 17th century, and a mid-18th century addition to the rear. It is constructed with square-panelled timber-framing on a rubble stone plinth, alongside an irregular brick bond addition. The roof is single-roman tiled and hipped, with brick stacks. The building is in an L-shape. The front elevation is two storeys high and features three windows. A six-panelled door is centrally positioned, with a three-light casement window to the left and a two-light casement window to the right. The first floor has one three-light and two two-light casement windows. The left return side has a single-light casement window to the ground floor of the timber-framed range. The 18th century rear wing has a central glazed door, two two-light casement windows on either side, and two windows to the first floor. A dentilled brick string course is also visible. The interior features chamfered beams and an open fireplace with a timber lintel.
