Description

The Malthouse is an 18th-century house constructed of rubble stone with an asbestos cement slate roof, featuring an ashlar stack at the east end. It is two stories high and originally had a two-window front. The windows are mullioned; a bead-moulded three-light window is present on both the first floor and the ground floor to the left, while an unmoulded two-light window was inserted on the first floor to the right. A plain stone lintel tops the doorway. The building was used as a malthouse during the 19th century.
