Description
The Maton monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 3 meters west of the west tower of the Church of the Holy Trinity. It dates from the mid-17th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a chamfered table and base, with a plain chest that has an incised inscription on the end panel dedicated to William Maton, who died on 26 September 1649. There is an additional inscription on the south side, but it is now illegible.
