Description
This is a cottage located at 447 Bulford Road, dating from the early 19th century. It features course-textured flint walls and a thatched roof. The front, facing east, is one storey with an attic and has two windows. The hipped roof is complemented by gabled dormers. The walls have rusticated corners, with brick and flint quoins, and there is a projecting band of flint at the first floor level, along with hood-moulds over the ground-floor windows. The windows are casements. A timber porch with a gabled thatch roof and a half-glazed door adds to the charm. There is also a small detached service building that matches the style of the cottage.
