Description

The Lodge is a building located on Salisbury Road in Tidworth, dating from the early 19th century. It serves as the lodge to South Tidworth House and is designed in the Cottage Orne style. The structure is made of painted brick and features a hipped slate roof. The front of the building is symmetrical, with one storey and two windows. The walls are set back within a verandah supported by rustic poles, and the overall design is quite plain. The windows are casements, and there is a boarded door. At the rear, there are irregular extensions that match the style of the main building, including a splayed bay.
