Description
Thatchwell Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage located on Plassey Road in North Tidworth. It is constructed of roughcast chalk cob and features a thatched roof. The cottage has two storeys and three bays, with the entrance positioned between the center and right bays. A weatherboarded gabled porch with a tiled roof provides access. The corners and window surrounds are smoothly rendered. The ground floor has 20th-century timber windows, while the upper floor features 19th-century paned casements and a flush dormer at the rear. There is a stack located between the center and left bays, and the roof is hipped to the right. Additionally, there is a flat-roofed 20th-century extension on the right side of the gable.
