Description

The base of a disused windmill, dated 1797, is located approximately 7 meters east of No. 25 on Windmill Hill in Lower Brixham. This structure is a tapering, circular stone rubble construction featuring two windows and two doorways, all adorned with segmental arches made of stone voussoirs. There are traces of former rendering on the surface. Above the west doorway, there is a stone tablet inscribed with the year 1797. Additionally, the bases of at least two second-storey windows are visible.
