Description
Two flights of steps with balustrades are located to the south of Brunel Manor, built around 1870, which is contemporary with the manor itself. The steps are made of freestone and consist of two flights: one leads from the terrace to the center of the house, and the other leads from the terrace to the west. A third flight at the east end has recently been dismantled. The steps feature balustrading with turned balusters, chamfered handrails, and square section piers that are decorated with depressed quatrefoils and topped with oversailing moulded caps. The design of the balustrading matches that of the terrace.
