Description

A pair of early 19th-century houses, likely built upon a 17th or 18th-century structure, stand in a single range on Milton Street in Higher Brixham. The houses have solid, rendered walls that are lined to resemble stonework, and a slate roof. A rendered chimney with a flat cap sits on the ridge above the party wall between the houses, and another is on the right-end wall. Number 1 is two windows wide, and Number 3 is three windows wide, with a centrally positioned doorway in each. Number 1 has plastic door and window frames. Number 3 features box-framed, two-paned sash windows, and a late 20th-century glazed wood door. The buildings are included on the list for their group value.
