Description

The gate piers at the north end of Lisburne Crescent in Torquay were likely built around 1851, at the same time as Lisburne Crescent itself. They have recently been repaired and are plastered. The piers are square in shape and stand on deep plinths. They feature chamfered rustication and moulded cornices, topped with pineapple finials that match those found on the terrace's parapet.
