Description

The gate piers at the south end of Lisburne Crescent in Torquay are likely from around 1851, built at the same time as the crescent itself. They are made of plaster and feature a square section on deep plinths. The piers have chamfered rustication and moulded cornices, topped with pineapple finials that match those on the terrace's parapet.
