Description

Nightingale Farmhouse is an 18th century building, believed to date from 1707 based on a dated beam that was removed from the dining room. The farmhouse is two and a half storeys high and constructed of coursed rubble. It features a cellar on the right side and has a stone tile roof with gable end chimneys. There are two hipped dormers and three windows, which are three-light casements, with a 20th century light in the centre. A modern gabled porch with a half glazed door is present at the front, and there is a part catslide roof to the rear that includes a hipped dormer.
