Description

This cottage, located adjacent to the former school on Church Road in Iliddington, likely dates from the 17th century and was expanded in the mid-19th century. It is two storeys high and has a thatched roof, with the left side being lower than the right. The exterior is made of painted rubble, with brick dressings and quoins on the right side. There are two brick chimneys on the roof. The cottage features two windows on the first floor and two on the ground floor, which are two-light casements, along with a 20th-century square bay window on the right. At the rear, on the right (west side), there is a timber corner post from an older building that has been retained.
