Description

Canney Cottage is a 17th or early 18th century thatched cottage. It is a long, one-and-a-half and two-storey building, originally rendered. The cottage has three brick chimneys and four eyebrow dormers, along with a first-floor window featuring a three-light casement. There are five assorted ground floor windows, a large central lobby porch with three windows, French windows, and a door. A single-storey thatched extension adjoins the left side, and a modern extension is present on the right. The rear of the cottage reveals an early rubble building with two separate extensions to the east and a later 19th-century brick and weatherboarded extension to the west.
