Description

The Limes is an 18th-century house of an "L" shape. It is two stories high and built of random rubble stone, with the upper gable sections constructed of brick. The front elevation has a pebbledash finish. The roof is covered with random coursed slate and is half-hipped to the south. The windows are modern casements, replacing what were possibly mullion windows, and there are one and three windows on the front. A modern, centrally-placed gabled porch has been added to the west side, and there is a further side door to the left-hand wing.
