Description
Winchcombe Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th century. The building is rendered and features a double Roman tiled roof with a coped raised verge on the left side. It has two storeys and a single storey with attics in the coped gable to the left, while the roof is raised at the far right.
The facade includes four 3-light casement windows that have edge-moulded mullions and surrounds, all positioned under drip moulds. There is a central projecting two-storey gabled porch with an arched doorcase that has moulded imposts and roses in the sunken spandrels. The inner door is a plank studded door with strap hinges, set in a moulded surround with a 4-centred head. Above this, on the first floor, there is a 2-light casement window with an ovolo moulded mullion.
