Description

No. 21 High Street is a house that was formerly used as a malt house. It dates from the late 17th century and has been altered in the late 18th and 19th centuries. The building is constructed of rubble and has a double Roman tiled roof. It stands two storeys high with a cellar. On the ground floor, there are two mid-19th century glazing bar sash windows, along with an early 20th century shopfront and door. The first floor features a three-light casement window in a chamfered stone surround, as well as a 20th century casement window. Inside, the property has stop-chamfered beams.
