Description

This is a house dating from the 16th century, located in Marshfield High Street. It has a timber frame structure, now rendered, and a double Roman tiled roof. The front of the house has two bays, featuring a mixture of 20th-century and early 19th-century sash windows with 16 panes of glazing bar. A large, square-headed entrance leads to a covered way on the right side of the building. A rear wing, now divided into three cottages numbered 31-35, is constructed of rubble and also has two storeys, with seven sash windows containing 16 panes of glazing bar, and plank doors.
