Description

This is a late 17th-century house, located on the north side of High Street in Marshfield village. It was altered in the early 18th century and again in the mid-19th century. The house is constructed of rubble, with some areas rendered and lined out to resemble ashlar, and has a slate roof. It is four bays wide, with marginal glazing bar sash windows set within architraves. Two ground floor windows on the right-hand side are aligned by a continuous string course. A triple window is located on the left-hand side, sheltered by a continuous flat stone hood supported on brackets. A central panelled door is set within a moulded surround.
