Description

Marsh House, now incorporating Lloyds Bank, is a house located on the north side of High Street in Marshfield. It dates from the mid-18th century and is constructed of ashlar with a Cotswold stone slate roof featuring coped raised verges. The building has two storeys and attics with hipped dormers, comprising four bays and a central door. It has end quoins and a continuous string course above the ground floor. The windows are glazing bar sash types set in architraves, with one 20-pane sash window on the right. There is a 20th-century shopfront and door for the bank. The central entrance features a six-panel door in a plain architrave, topped with a flat stone hood supported by brackets.
