Description

No. 26 is a house located on the north side of High Street in Marshfield, dating from the early to mid 17th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with freestone dressings and features a 20th-century tiled roof. The building has two storeys and consists of two bays. On the ground floor, there is a 19th-century sash window, while the first floor has two-light casement windows with ovolo moulded mullions and surrounds. A 20th-century door is positioned to the left. There is a wide passageway with an arched head that connects No. 26 to Nos. 34 and 36. At the rear, there is a gabled wing.
