Description
Nos 25 and 27 on High Street are late 16th century to early 17th century buildings constructed from coursed rubble with a slate roof. They rise to two storeys and have attics, featuring three gables topped with ball finials. The gables include 2-light, square-headed casement windows with mullions positioned high. On the first floor, there are three glazing bar sash windows. To the left, there is a two-storey bay with mullion windows arranged in a 1-3-1 light pattern, although the central three lights on the ground floor have been refaced, all under dripstones. A modern shopfront is present to the right. Inside No 25, there is an 18th-century cornice and plasterwork in the room to the left of the passage.
