Description

Hartley House is a late 17th-century building that was altered in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with Bath stone surrounds and features a modern tiled roof. The house has two and a half storeys and is topped with two steep coped gables that have ball finials in the attic, along with oculus windows set in square panels in the gables. There are three windows, which are casements that were originally 2-light moulded mullions with dripmoulds. The building also includes 19th-century two-storey bays with stone mullions and a wing at the rear that has two gables.
