Description

17 Park Place is a detached villa built in the late 1840s. The building is constructed of ashlar and features two storeys with an attic. The ground floor has modern sash windows set in semi-circular bays, which are adorned with carved balustrades and relief moulded decoration. On the first floor, there are tripartite sash windows, flanked by three moulded giant pilasters. The porch, located on the right return wall, has an arched moulded surround and an inner door with a fanlight above. A tall concrete parapet partially conceals the modern mansard storey.
