Description
Shrubbery Lodge, located on Shrubbery Road, is a building dated 1839 that showcases Tudor Gothic architectural style. It features a rendered exterior with freestone dressings and a slate roof, which is topped with triple octagonal chimney stacks. The structure is two storeys high and includes a gabled wing facing Shrubbery Road. On the ground floor, there is a Tudor arch headed three-light window with a square label above it. The first floor features a four-light oriel window and decorative fretted bargeboards. To the left, there is a lower wing with a single window. The entrance is marked by a gabled porch that has a moulded Tudor head doorway. This building also includes No 53 Upper Church Road.
