Description
The Grey House is an early to mid-19th century Tudor Gothic building located on the south side of Nore Road, designated as No 49. It is constructed of rubble with freestone dressings and features a tiled roof. The house has two storeys and includes three mullioned windows that are topped with hood moulds and carved stops. The central section of the building is advanced and features a porch and a battlemented oriel window above. This section terminates in a gable with a barge board that has a pierced circular opening within a square surround. The door has a depressed arch with a hood mould above it. To the left, there is a single storey gabled wing.
