Description
Church House is a 17th-century building that was remodelled in the 19th century, constructed of colourwashed rubble with a double Roman tiled roof. The building is in an L-shaped plan with a cross passage. It has two storeys and four windows. The windows are mostly modern casements, but two retain original oak mullions. The eaves project and there are fretted bargeboards to the gable. A modern hood covers the front door. A stepped chimney stack with moulded cappings is visible at the rear. Inside, a ground-floor room in the front wing features a cross beam ceiling with mid-17th-century mouldings.
