Description

The garden wall and gatepiers, dating from the mid-19th century, extend 30 metres east from the gazebo at Christon Court. The wall is constructed of rubble and ashlar, standing 2 metres high with an embattled design. It leads to a pair of gatepiers made of ashlar, which are square on moulded plinths and feature a moulded cornice and weathered caps. The timber gates, restored in 1983, have round-headed openings that are fitted with cast iron rails.
