Description
This barn, located about 70 metres north of Folly Cottages, dates back to 1731, as indicated on the right gable end. It is constructed of limestone rubble and features a pantiled roof with a double Roman tiled lean-to. The barn has a rectangular shape and includes a sheltered area at the rear. The front of the barn has a plain door with an upper loading door to the left. The left gable end features a triangular owlhole and a lean-to with a door, while the right gable end has a loading door and a datestone above that reads "....eale Esq/1731," along with another triangular owlhole above it. The rear of the barn has a catslide roof over the open sheltered area, supported by tapered circular rubble piers that create five bays, with a central door in the rear wall. The interior has not been inspected.
