Description
Bullock Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century and the 19th century. It is constructed of rendered rubble with raised coped verges and a pantile roof. The building features a former cross passage with a rear extension and stands two storeys high with four windows. The entrance is located off-centre to the right and is sheltered by a glazed, pitched porch. The windows are 19th-century casements, with a four-light window below and two- and three-light windows above. There is a later parallel gabled range added to the rear.
Inside, the cross passage is now blocked. The room on the left (north) has a framed ceiling with deep chamfered beams and a blocked inglenook fireplace featuring a stopped chamfered bressummer. A winder stair rises from this room, continuing to the attic, and is located beyond the entrance from the cross passage. The room on the south side also has stopped chamfered beams. The roof structure has not been seen.
