Description
This is a country house, now divided into three separate residences. It was likely built in the mid-18th century and altered and extended in the mid- to late-19th century. The construction utilizes rubble with freestone dressings, and the roof is slate, incorporating a cornice and parapet in certain areas. The house has two main floors, cellars, and attics, with three dormers visible in a mansard roof at the center. The north elevation exhibits an irregular design. The original core of the house is located to the left-center, featuring five windows with glazing bars in simple surrounds. A projecting porch, positioned off-center, has a concave gable and a finial. A late-19th-century square bay window with two windows on the first floor is situated at the far left. To the right of the central section, another projecting bay houses three windows and a first floor. The south elevation showcases a five-bay arcaded loggia, which has been glazed. The central room within the main house features a moulded cornice, a panelled dado, and panelling above.
