Description
Glebe House is a vicarage that has been converted into a private house, dating from the early 19th century. The building is rendered and features double Roman tiled roofs, hipped on the lower left and higher right sections, along with rendered stacks. It is designed in a Gothick style and stands two storeys tall.
The central section includes two 2-light casement windows and a canted bay window on the ground floor, all featuring Y-tracery. The first floor has 20th-century 2-light cross windows, and there is a 20th-century door located under a porch to the right. To the left, there is a two-bay kitchen wing with a single-storey, single-bay projecting scullery or pantry, all fitted with Y-tracery casement windows. On the right side, there is a Y-tracery French window on the ground floor and three 20th-century casement windows above.
Inside, the dining room showcases Gothick details, including two alcoves, a recessed niche, enriched plasterwork, and doorcases with Gothick colonnettes.
