Description

Elm Lodge and Leigh Lodge are a pair of detached houses dating from the early 19th century, with the possibility of earlier origins. Leigh Lodge is constructed of rendered local rubble with a double Roman tile roof and brick stacks. It has a three-storey, four-window front, with pilaster strips at each end. To the right is a lower two-storey, two-window range. The windows are mostly 6/6 pane sashes, although the upper floor windows throughout are 3/6 pane. Elm Lodge, to the left, comprises a lower two-storey, two-window range to the front, with similar fenestration, and a doorcase featuring a broken pediment supported by engaged Tuscan columns. The interior was not inspected.
