Description

Abbots Leigh House is a detached house, originally built in the late 18th century and altered in the mid-19th century. It is now subdivided. The exterior is rendered with a double-roman tiled mansard roof, featuring coped raised verges and a crested ridge, along with rendered stacks. The house has two storeys and attic space, with catslide dormers. It has three bays, with an additional bay on a right-hand extension (number 34). The windows are glazing bar sash windows; the ground floor features three-light canted bays with dentilled cornices, while the first floor has louvred shutters and blind boxes. The central entrance has a six-panel door with a blacked fanlight, and a doorcase featuring a broken pediment.
